Span shut in Poland

U.S. Route 224 is closed in Poland while work begins on the replacement of Yellow Creek Bridge, requiring some drivers to take long detours. The Ohio Department of Transportation says the bridge is closed indefinitely. Some residents are concerned the detours will cause traffic nightmares, but village police say all traffic concerns will be addressed by the department.
