Flower sale benefits adoption services



An array of flowers and plants will be available.
HOWLAND -- Northeast Ohio Adoption Services will hold its spring flower sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through May 26 at 8700 E. Market St. at Hunter's Square.
Flats of flowers, hanging baskets, geraniums, perennials and arrangements for Mother's Day will be available.
Co-chairwomen are Gere Weller of Liberty and Janet Weller of Canfield.
The theme of the sale is "Be Part of Something Special." Proceeds of the sale will help NOAS in its work with adoptive families.
In Ohio, more than 6,000 children are waiting to be adopted into permanent homes. Since 1978 NOAS has helped find families for more than 950 children. Singles and couples may apply to be adoptive parents. Adoptive parents must be older than 21, and there is no fee charged.
