CLUBS
XMahoning Chapter, Daughter of the American Revolution, will meet at noon May 13 at Shepherd of the Valley with regent Joanne Collier presiding. Bertram de Souza, an editorial writer at The Vindicator, will speak on "Current Events." Sarah Reynolds will give the president general's address and Marjorie Halter, the national defense report. Election of officers will be held. A report on the Continental Congress will be given. The next meeting will be held at noon June 10 at Canfield Presbyterian Church.
XWomen's Connection will meet at noon May 13 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, 115 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. The program will be a fashion show, a talk by Wally Hedberg of Liberty about growing up in Germany during World War II and music by Polly and Pamla Hansley. Tickets are $6.50. XYoungstown After 5 will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 12 for a "Steppin' Out" evening at the Lockwood House, Boardman. XWestern Reserve Republican Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the West Glen Italian Eatery. Hazel Bieber will preside, and the speaker will be Beth Ronar.
