Yoders to observe 50th anniversary during reception

XCOLUMBIANA -- Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur E. Yoder, 3400 Garfield Road, will be honored by family and friends during an open reception to be held from 1 to 3 p.m. May 18 at Midway Mennonite Church on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration will be the couple's children and their spouses, Alan and Linda Yoder of Dalton; Beverly Dolence of Damascus; Calvin Yoder of Greenwood, Del.; Darrel and Barb Yoder of Canfield; and Emily and John Huffman of Salem. Also participating will be their 12 grandchildren.
The former Dorothy A. Yoder and Wilbur E. Yoder were united in marriage May 30, 1953, at Midway Mennonite Church, where they are members. They are also members of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Yoder retired in 2001 as a licensed practical nurse and is a part-time secretary at Huffman Fruit Farm in Salem.
Mr. Yoder, a general laborer and truck driver for Huffman Fruit Farm, has also been employed as a bus driver and on the Butler crew for Witmer Inc.
