XCANFIELD -- The marriage of Janine Marie Stadnik and Shawn Michael Tessean, both of 5867 Calamie Drive, Parma Heights, was solemnized by the Rev. Dr. George Lee at 2 p.m. May 3 at Canfield United Methodist Church.
Afterward the couple were honored during a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman, before leaving for a cruise to the Bahamas.
They will live in Parma Heights.
The bride's parents are Theodore and Helen Stadnik, 1974 Wakefield Ave., Youngstown, and Jacquelyn Hammonds, 3660 Hoffman-Norton Road, West Farmington. Parents of the groom are Howard and Lillian Tessean, 549 E. Calla Road, Poland.
Beading enhanced the bride's white satin gown.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amy Stadnik, and the bridesmaids, Susan Walsh, Jill Jacobs, Melanie Kardos and Carolynn Heim. Flower girl was Alyssa Simmers.
Serving as best man was William Ewing, and groomsmen were Ralph Angiuli, Richard Mollenkopf, David Tessean and Theodore Stadnik Jr. Ring bearers were Christopher Heim and Brandon Dasen.
The bride graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nuclear Medicine and Youngstown State University. She is a nuclear medicine technologist with the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
The groom is a shopping supervisor with Business Stationery in Warrensville Heights.
