Hilderbrands are honored on anniversary
XBOARDMAN -- The Lockwood House was the setting April 27 for a celebration held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hilderbrand of Boardman on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Invitations for the event were issued by their family, Susan and John Rossi of Warren, Robert and Nancy Hilderbrand of New Middletown, Jean and Matt Estephan of Boardman, and Kurt Hilderbrand and Donna Slagle of Poland. Also participating were their nine grandchildren.
The former Beverly O'Neill and Mr. Hilderbrand were united in marriage May 9, 1953, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. James Episcopal Church in Boardman.
Mrs. Hilderbrand is retired from her position as office manager with Rex Machine Co. of Lowellville. She is a member of the Friendly Associates Club.
Mr. Hilderbrand retired after 30 years of employment as a metallurgist with Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co.-LTV Steel Corp. and the Saw Hill Tube Corp. in Sharon, Pa. He is a member of Masonic Lodge 396 of Poland.
