YOUNGSTOWN -- The Chaney High School softball team wrapped up its sixth consecutive City Series championship with a 17-2 decision over Woodrow Wilson Wednesday.
Kristen Belik had three singles to lead a 14-hit attack.
The Cowgirls (13-3, 6-0) scored nine times in the second to make it 12-0. Angela Armstrong, Gina Guyer, Renee Palowitz, Terra Koontz and Vicki Earp doubled for Chaney.
Armstrong, Palowitz and Rachel Miller each had two hits.
Boardman 15, Ursuline 0
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Spartans (17-1, 5-0 Steel Valley Conference) unleashed a 21-hit attack with five players collecting multi-hit games.
Winning-pitcher Jennifer Pancake (13-1) had four hits, one a double, with four RBIs.
Jennifer Feret hit a three-run homer, added a single and had five RBIs.
Jaclyn Corroto had three hits, one a double.
Jenna Brandenstein tripled while Krysta Sylvester and Meagan Cunningham each had two hits and two RBIs.
Jenna Vrabel singled twice for the Irish (13-10, 5-2).

McDONALD -- Jaci Bahrey had two hits for the Mustangs (7-11, 5-7 Inter-County League).
The Blue Devils (0-10, 0-8) scored in the first inning.
Woodridge 10, Southeast 0
RAVENNA -- Sydnee Greene singled three times for Woodridge (7-8, 6-3).
The Pirates are 7-10, 4-5.
