hCarpet squares move into the home

hCarpet squaresmove into the home
You probably think of carpet squares in combination with office cubicles and fluorescent lights. But carpet manufacturer Interface is giving carpet tiles a hip new look for homes.
The company has come out with InterfaceFLOR, a new line of carpet squares meant for residential use. The squares come in a variety of styles and colors and can be repositioned at will, giving consumers the freedom to create their own area rug or carpet -- and redesign it over and over, if they like.
The product comes packaged as Rug-in-a-Box and Room-in-a-Box, both containing squares in complementary patterns and colors. Floor tiles may also be purchased individually, with a minimum order of six tiles.
The squares are backed by low-tack adhesive dots to keep them in place without glue or staples. Individual tiles can be removed and washed in the sink, or replaced if they become stained or worn.
InterfaceFLOR can be purchased at www.interfaceflor.com or through the company's catalog, which may be ordered at (866) 281-3567.
Rug-in-a-Box prices range from $99 to $559, depending on the size and style. Room-in-a-Box carpets are priced at $6.99 to $9.99 per 19.5-inch square.
