XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- St. Paul the Apostle Church was the setting at 2 p.m. April 5 for the wedding of Carole Laraine Gentile and Benjamin Jay Canfield.
The bride is a daughter of Michael Gentile of Lowellville and the late Rochelle Gentile. Mr. Canfield is a son of Robert and Valerie Podolsky of Poland.
The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated, and a reception took place at The Georgetown in Boardman. The newlyweds honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and are living in Poland.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown of white satin designed with embroidery on the edge of the bodice and a detachable train. She wore her mother's bridal veil attached to a rhinestone tiara.
Honor attendants were Kristy Premec and Lisa Delluomo. They wore wine-colored gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Andrea Gentile, Laurie Visingarde, Kristin Hephner, Brooke Gentile, Lora Wiery, Nicole Young and Karen Evans. Junior bridesmaid was Marie Pinnell, who wore a white dress.
Mark Gentile was best man, and groomsmen were Michael and John Gentile, Jeff Solvesky, Tom Antonishak, Mark Naples, Nick Gesacion, Ryan McBride and Mike Mullins. Junior groomsman was Bobby Stanovcak, and ring bearer was Mason Gentile.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing, Mrs. Canfield is a registered nurse in surgery at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Her husband is in the apprenticeship program with Glazing Contractors Local 847 at Warren Glass & amp; Paint, Warren.
