The Rayen School/Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps "Tiger Battalion" 2002-03 school year award ceremony was Wednesday. The Rayen JROTC was established in 1995. First Sgt. (retired) Charles H. Sutton and Sgt. 1st Class (retired) John R. Ayers are the program instructors. Cadet Lt. Col. Jerome Higgs is the unit's cadet commander. Awards and decorations are presented to individual cadets who excel in areas of academic and military achievement, and in JROTC sponsored extracurricular activities:
