Attempting arrests: 221 deaths.
Investigating suspicious people or circumstances: 104 deaths.
Disturbance calls: 100 deaths.
Traffic pursuits or stops: 97 deaths.
Ambush situations: 88 deaths.
Handling or transporting prisoners: 22 deaths.
Mentally deranged assailants: 11.
