WARREN -- The city schools' Adult Basic and Literacy Education's public recognition night will be at 6 p.m. May 28 in Western Reserve Middle School.
About 65 adults will receive certificates. Refreshments will follow.
Several colleges and universities will have displays and hand out information on higher education.
Grand jury indicts man
CLEVELAND -- A federal grand jury has indicted Nathaniel A. Dumas, 27, of Lansdowne Boulevard, Youngstown, on charges of violating federal firearms laws by having a firearm after being convicted of a felony.
The offense is punishable by a 10-year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine.
