Boardman girls finish sixth at Eastlake relays
EASTLAKE -- The Boardman High girls track team finished sixth in Saturday's Eastlake North Ranger Relays meet. The top eight finishers received awards.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Brittany Durkin, Sarah Grabert, Jessica Moore and Monica Cuevas placed first with a season-best time of 9 minutes, 38.74 seconds.
Cuevas was second in the 800 (2:21.53) and Grabert was fifth with a season-best time of 2:29.37.
Durkin placed fourth in the 1600 (5:28.12) and Moore was fifth in the 400 (62.16).
The 4x1600 relay of Bridget Beachy, Traci Sanders, Rachele Fidram and Robyn Repko placed fifth (24:31.39).
Repko ran a season-best 12:39.67 for fifth in the 3200 to finish eight.
The 4x400 relay of Kristen Agnew, Cuevas, Grabert and Moore placed sixth (4:10.86).
Allison Barger won the pole vault with a jump of 10 feet. She also finished eighth in the 300 hurdles (50.47).
The high-jump relay team of Kristen Lauer and Karen Zolk finished seventh (9-6).
The 4x200 relay of Autumn Parrish, Agnew, Dana Rodgers and Jenna Agnew was eighth (1:54.2), as was the 4x100 relay of Parrish, Rodgers, Tess McMurray and Jenna Agnew (54.76).
