PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Diana Taurasi scored 18 points and Maria Conlon hit two big second-half 3-pointers as Connecticut won its 70th straight game in the Big East Conference tournament semifinals. Jessica Moore added 14 points as the Huskies (31-0) moved within a game of capturing their 10th consecutive conference tournament title. Connecticut will play Villanova tonight for the title. Ieva Kublina had 16 points to lead Virginia Tech (21-9), which was playing its third game in as many nights.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Iciss Tillis scored all 21 of her points in the second half and added 10 rebounds, and Alana Beard had 16 points and a career-high 20 rebounds as Duke became the first women's team in ACC history to win four consecutive tournament titles. Duke (31-1) won its 43rd consecutive ACC game, ran through the league undefeated for the second straight season and matched the Duke men (1999-2002) as the only conference teams to win four straight titles. To do so, the Blue Devils beat North Carolina (27-5) for the ninth straight time in a rematch of last season's final. Coretta Brown scored 18 points for North Carolina and Candace Sutton added 10.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Tournament MVP Nicole Powell scored 13 of her 19 points in the first eight minutes as Stanford (26-4) opened up an early lead to defeat Arizona in the championship game of the Pac-10 tournament. Dee-Dee Wheeler led No. 3 seed Arizona (22-8) with 13 points. Stanford mixed up its defense to make it difficult for 6-foot-5 freshman of the year Shawntinice Polk to get the ball inside. Polk finished with a season-low five points, 12 below her average, to go with nine rebounds. It was just the second time in 30 games Polk didn't score in double figures.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Trish Juhline scored 28 points and hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2:31 to play as Villanova advanced to its first Big East Conference tournament title game since 1987. Courtney Mix finished off a 19-point game by hitting two game-clinching free throws with 18.1 seconds to play to help the third-seeded Wildcats (24-5). Tamara James had 18 points to lead seventh-seeded Miami (18-12).
