GIRARD
March 3
Possible burglary: A man in the 200 block of East Liberty Street called police after finding a door to his residence open, glass broken and suspicious noises above the apartment.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 200 block of Louis Avenue reported numerous holes in some windows and a portion of siding to her residence, possibly from a BB gun.
Vandalism: A man reported someone broke into a vehicle at Steve's Towing, 717 S. State St. The vehicle's driver's-side window was broken and its turn signal covers were removed.
March 4
Criminal mischief: Someone threw eggs onto a car, causing minor paint damage to its driver's-side door, while the vehicle was parked in the 3800 block of Niles-Carver Road.
Criminal damage: Someone tossed eggs at a vehicle parked in the 400 block of East Kline Street.
LIBERTY
Feb. 25
Burglary: A man in the 1300 block of Shannon Road reported someone broke into his residence and removed an undisclosed amount of money.
Feb. 26
Auto theft: A 1985 Buick Park Avenue was stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Goist Lane.
Arrest: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, and charged him with possession of a counterfeit controlled substance after a student alleged he showed other students a bag of suspected cocaine in the cafeteria. Tests determined the substance was not cocaine.
Feb. 27
Criminal damaging: A vehicle in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive had both vent windows broken and damage to its steering column and a door mechanism.
Criminal damaging: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 10 block of James Lane and damaged its steering column.
Drugs: Police arrested a 46-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of deception to obtain a dangerous drug after a pharmacist at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., alleged the man forged a prescription for Vicodin.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle's window was broken while the car was parked in the 20 block of Trumbull Court.
Auto theft: A 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra was stolen from an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Oakland Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Someone damaged a vehicle's steering column while the car was in the 10 block of Trumbull Court.

Arrest: While investigating an altercation at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of disorderly conduct while intoxicated and aggravated menacing.
Theft: A man stole a donation box containing $20 from the lobby of the Holiday Inn MetroPlex before fleeing on foot.
Criminal damaging/theft: Someone broke a vehicle's passenger-side window in the Giant Eagle parking lot and stole a motorized toy truck.
Theft: An Ohio temporary tag was removed from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive.

Criminal damaging/theft: A vehicle's passenger-side window was broken in the Goodwill Industries parking lot, 2747 Belmont Ave., and an AM/FM in-dash radio-compact disc player was removed.
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle for having a shattered windshield, police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of receiving stolen property after officers said the car was stolen. The man also was charged with driving under a suspended license, operating an unsafe vehicle and being in possession of criminal tools.
Arrest: After responding to a disturbance at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, police arrested a 29-year-old Austintown man wanted on a warrant charging him with aggravated menacing.

Counterfeit: An employee at Burger King, 3219 Belmont Ave., reported a man in his 50s or 60s tried to make a purchase with a counterfeit $50 bill.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle's driver's-side tires were punctured in the 4700 block of Vienna Avenue.

Theft: A man in the 200 block of Parkview Drive reported an undetermined amount of money missing from his apartment.

Drugs: An employee at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported two students had prescription drugs in their possession.
Theft: An employee at Video Express, 230 N. Main St., alleged a co-worker stole money from her.

Possible auto theft: A man in the 200 block of North Main Street reported someone used his vehicle without permission.

Theft: A student at Hubbard High School reported another student's purse was stolen.

Theft: A West Middlesex, Pa., woman reported someone stole several personal checks from her and tried to cash them in Warren.
