MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL--Suspended Cleveland RHP Jason Boyd for three games and fined him $1,500 for bumping umpire Dana DeMuth during a game on June 21. Suspended Cincinnati RHP Paul Wilson for five games for a brawl during a game on June 19. Suspended Cincinnati OF Jose Guillen for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for bumping home plate umpire Matt Hollowell during a game on June 25. Suspended Cincinnati 1B Sean Casey for three games for participating in a bench-clearing fight in a game on June 13.
American League
ANAHEIM ANGELS--Placed DH Brad Fullmer on the 15-day disabled list. Recalled INF Chone Figgins from Salt Lake of the PCL.
CHICAGO WHITE SOX--Announced C Josh Paul has refused outright assignment to Charlotte of the IL and elected to become a free agent.
CLEVELAND INDIANS--Activated RHP Ricardo Rodriguez from the 15-day disabled list.

CHICAGO CUBS--Announced the three-game suspension of RHP Kyle Farnsworth for a brawl in a game on June 19, has been reduced to two games. Recalled RHP Juan Cruz from Iowa of the PCL. Assigned INF Bobby Hill to Iowa.
MONTREAL EXPOS--Purchased the contract of RHP Tim Drew from Edmonton of the PCL.
NEW YORK METS--Purchased the contract of RHP Aaron Heilman from Norfolk of the IL. Optioned LHP Mike Bacsik to Norfolk. Designated INF Marco Scutaro for assignment.
