HERMITAGE Charge stems from alcohol given to minor, who died

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Police have charged a New Castle man with supplying alcohol to a minor who died of combined drug and alcohol intoxication at a party on Lamor Road.
Dominick R. Yeropoli, 23, of Pearson Street turned himself in at the police station Friday morning to face a charge of furnishing alcohol to a minor, police said.
He was arraigned before District Justice Henry Russo, who freed him on his own recognizance pending a preliminary hearing at a later date.
Found dead
Police said Yeropoli is accused of providing alcohol consumed by Brian Grgurich, 17, of Catalina Place, at a party in an apartment on Lamor Road on Jan. 17.
Grgurich was found dead at the apartment around 10:30 a.m. the next day.
The death was ruled accidental because of a combination of alcohol and the drug methadone in Grgurich's system.
Police said more charges are expected in the case as they seek to determine who supplied the drug that Grgurich ingested.
