SITHA THACHTHOMAS PETRIDIS
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Sitha Thach and Thomas James Petridis, both of 3355 Black Oak Lane, Austintown, were united in marriage by the Rev. Joyce Lawson during a 2 p.m. ceremony May 24 at Mahoning United Methodist Church.
After a reception at The Embassy, the couple left for a honeymoon at Cape Cod, Maine. They live at the Austintown address.
The bride, who is known as Kim, is a daughter of Brenda Thach of Tulsa, Okla., and parents of the groom are Peter and Patricia Petridis, 5603 Tarrytown Lane, Austintown.
Swarovski crystals adorned the bride's strapless A-line gown. It was designed with a curved basque waistline and a sweep train.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Sawan Cheers, and the bridesmaids, Suzin Stucky, Erynn O'Llila, Lisa Acierno and Christina Petridis. Flower girl was Katie Petridis.
Best man was Mike Richmond, and groomsmen were Fred DiBlasio, Bob Dripps, Tohy Thach and John Tucker. Serving as ring bearer was Danny Petridis, and Pete Petridis was junior usher.
The bride, a nuclear-medicine technologist with Akron City Hospital, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in biology-chemistry and earned a certificate in nuclear-medicine technology at the Community College of Allegheny County, Pittsburgh.
The groom served with the U.S. Navy. He graduated from ETI Technical College of Niles with an associate in electronic engineering technology, and is an electrician with Parker Hannifin.
