XAUSTINTOWN -- St. Joseph Church was the setting at 2 p.m. May 24 for the wedding of Sara Collins Kochansky and Daniel Cary Pitt. Parents of the newlyweds are John and Cecelia Kochansky, 2206 Elm Trace St., and Cary and Gloria Pitt, 11770 Green Beaver Road, Canfield.
Deacon Michael Roberts officiated, and a reception was held at the Italian-American Veterans Centre in Youngstown. After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the couple are living in Austintown.
The bride wore a sleeveless princess gown of white silk satin designed with a beaded band at the waist and A-line skirt flowing to a chapel train.
Maid of honor was Sheri Barnes, and matron of honor was the bride's sister, Susan Sarachene. They wore periwinkle gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Kristin Damigella, the bride's sister-in-law; Deborah Marinski, the groom's sister; Dr. Richelle Keleman; and Lisa Vilkinofsky. The bride's niece and godchild, Allison Sarachene, was flower girl.
Dr. Tracy Pitt served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were John Kochansky, the bride's brother; Daniel Sarachene, her brother-in-law; Brent Marinski, the groom's brother-in-law; Daniel Mannion; and Eric Kotouch.
Mrs. Pitt is a graduate of Western Reserve Care System School of Radiologic Technology and is employed with Cavalier Mobile X-Ray Co. as an ultrasonographer-radiologic technologist.
Her husband holds an associate degree in civil engineering from Youngstown State University and is owner of Pitt Contracting Inc.
