XYOUNGSTOWN -- Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park provided the setting May 24 for the wedding of Samantha McCombs and William Rauscher III, both of 15340 Sprague Road, Middleburg Heights.
Bishop Madison Edge officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Keith and Gail McCombs of Mineral Ridge and the son of Debra McCleary of Newton Falls.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at Theodore's Banquet Centre in Mineral Ridge. Since returning from a honeymoon to the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Tenn., they live in North Royalton.
Floral embroidery enhanced the bride's ivory gown styled with a strapless bodice and a split skirt.
Amanda Apanasewicz of Warren, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. She wore a sage-green dress.
Scott Weeks of Strongsville performed the duties of best man.
Mrs. Rauscher is a computer programmer with the Ohio Turnpike Commission in Berea. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems and is pursuing a master's in library and information science at Kent State University.
Mr. Rauscher graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in sociology and is pursuing a master's in information architecture and knowledge management at KSU. He is employed as the system maintenance assistant at Parma Community General Hospital.
