McHenrys mark anniversary at end of May



XYOUNGSTOWN -- Friends and relatives gathered May 31 at Austin Manor in Austintown for a party planned in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Parker T. McHenry, 423 E. Beacon Drive.
Hosts for the occasion were the couple's family, Greg and Pat Barber and Joe and Bonny McHenry, all of Youngstown; Mike McHenry of Canfield; and Steve and Mary Lou Sabo of Columbus. Also participating were their 11 grandchildren.
St. Dominic Church was the setting May 30, 1953, as the former Nancy Ross and Mr. McHenry were united in marriage. They are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Mr. McHenry served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He was an executive vice president and corporate operating officer at Mahoning National Bank, Youngstown, prior to retiring. He is a member of the Lions Club of Youngstown and serves on the executive boards of Second Harvest Food Bank, Beatitude House and United Way. His wife is a homemaker.
