LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



WARREN -- Rick Blossom, president of Second National Bank, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year in the financial services category of the 2003 Ernst & amp; Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program. Judges recognized Blossom for his commitment to getting out of the office to build rapport with clients. Established in 1988, the annual awards program recognizes company owners or top managers who are primarily responsible for the recent performance of their organizations. Blossom and other regional winners will be inducted into the Entrepreneur Of The Year Hall of Fame at a November ceremony in Palm Springs, Fla.
LIBERTY -- Linda Modry, a former Liberty resident who now serves as bureau chief of subsidies for the Ohio Department of Youth Services, was recently featured in the June 2003 issue of the magazine Corrections Today. Modry, a Westerville resident, is a 1972 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1978 graduate of Youngstown State University.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Ronald Maskarinec, formerly of Youngstown, was installed recently as president of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society. Maskarinec, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, graduated from Youngstown State University in 1981 and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. He lives in Shelby, N.C.
