XBOARDMAN -- Married at 4:30 p.m. May 31 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park were Kelly Jo Kirkpatrick, daughter of Richard and Sherri Kirkpatrick, 8845 Bedell Road, Berlin Center, and Jay Stephen Tomasic, son of Gail Meenachan, 16900 Heiser Road, Berlin Center.
The Rev. Mark Reich officiated, and a reception was held at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas and Key West and Miami, and are living at 5260 Weaver Road, Berlin Center.
A strapless, A-line, white gown was worn by the bride. It was trimmed with beading and featured a chapel train, and she carried a bouquet of pink and purple tulips.
Heather Roessler was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Kristy Greier, Tiffany Tomasic and Jennifer Potts. They wore periwinkle gowns.
The duties of best man were performed by Jerry Barto, and serving as ushers were Paul Tomasic, Wes Truitt and Ryan Kirkpatrick.
Mrs. Tomasic is a student at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown.
Her husband is an auto worker at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown and is a member of the Ohio Army National Guard.
