XYOUNGSTOWN -- Hawaii and California were the honeymoon destinations of Joshua Baker, 891 Marty Lee Lane, Carlisle, and his bride, the former Jennifer Marie Rovnak, 8477 Wood Grove Court, Centerville, who were married May 24 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church.
The Rev. Melvin Rusnak officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Patrick Rovnak, 1885 S. Turner Road, Austintown, and Pam Rovnak, 955 N. Highland Ave., Girard, and the son of Charles and Peggy Baker of the Carlisle address.
The couple were honored during a reception at the Regency House in Austintown. They live at the bride's address.
Silver micro beading accented the bride's white satin gown styled in an off-the-shoulder design. A silver tiara held her veil.
The bride's sister, Christine Rovnak, was honor attendant wearing a thistle-green and white ensemble. Bridesmaids were Karin Malinkey and Vivian Imahata, and junior bridesmaid was Samantha Rovnak, the bride's sister. They wore buttercream and white ensembles. Flower girl was Mariah Rovnak, her sister.
Best men were Travis and Jason Baker, the groom's brothers. Groomsmen were Neil Cate and Ken Turner. The bride's brother, Patrick Rovnak, was junior usher, and the groom's nephew, Eric Baker, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Baker attends Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering. She and her husband are employed at General Motors Corp. in Morain.
