XLAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas was the setting at 6 p.m. June 3 for the wedding of Cindy Torres, 5202 Nelson Mosier Road, Southington, and Michael A. Essell of the same address.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception afterward.
They honeymooned in Las Vegas and live in Southington.
The bride's sleeveless, ankle-length, ivory, A-line gown was designed with a halter-style bodice enhanced with embroidery and beaded lattice work.
A black gown was worn by Cathy Pike of Columbiana, who served as honor attendant.
The duties of best man were performed by Lyndon James of Santa Clara, Calif.
The bride, whose married name will be Cindy Torres Essell, graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea with a bachelor's degree. She received her juris doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law and is an account executive-research attorney with Lexis Nexis Inc., Cleveland.
The groom attended Kent State University and is employed in technical sales with Technical Machine Product Inc., Cleveland.
