XSTRUTHERS -- A reception in the grand ballroom of the Holiday Inn in Boardman took place May 24 after the 2 p.m. wedding at St. Nicholas Church of Beth Anne Cebula and Ernest L. Purnsley Jr.
Parents of the couple are Thomas and Lauretta Cebula of Sycamore Drive, Campbell, and Ernest Sr. and Juanita Purnsley, 627 Bessemer Circle, Fayetteville, N.C.
The Rev. James Friedel officiated. The newlyweds live at 134 N. Queens Court, Huntington, W.Va.
The bride was wearing a two-piece ensemble of ivory satin designed with a scoop neckline, a corset back and A-line skirt. It was enhanced with embroidered rum-colored flowers and bugle beads, and featured a chapel train.
Julie Cebula-White was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Rosanne Scott, Lee Anderson, Ernita Breland, Meg Purnsley, Wendy Sangdahl, Nicole Thomas and Courtney Plummer. They wore latt & eacute;-colored gowns. Flower girls were Elise Purnsley and Caitlin Sangdahl.
Best man was Ernesto Purnsley, and groomsmen were David Braxton, Bobby Collins, Reggie Fuller, Lamonte Goins, Brian Johnson, Tony Mosely and Jack White.
Mrs. Purnsley attended Youngstown State University and graduated from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in health and sport studies. She is employed by International Sports Properties Inc. as an assistant general manager at Marshall and Ohio universities.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in social studies education from Wake Forest University and is assistant football coach at Marshall University.
