Date announced for Planey-Carr summer wedding

XBOARDMAN -- Plans for the summer wedding of Rebecca S. Planey and Curtis W. Carr, both of Kent, are being announced by the bride-elect's mother, Sue Planey, 49 Green Bay Drive.
Mr. Carr is a son of David Carr and Amy Murdy, both of Ontario, Canada.
The couple have chosen Aug. 30 for their open wedding at 1:30 p.m. at St. Charles Church. A reception will be held later that day by invitation at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.
Miss Planey holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kent State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a nanny in Bath.
Her fiance graduated from KSU with a bachelor's degree in physical education and is working with young people in Kent.
