Charges filed against man accused of dumping body in Hermitage

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Authorities don't know yet what killed Mark A. McNulty, but they filed charges of abuse of a corpse and criminal conspiracy against a man accused of dumping McNulty's body along Lynnwood Drive.
The charges were filed Monday against Emce A. Jones, 41, of Parke Drive, Hermitage. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and police said he was to turn himself in at 9 a.m. today.
McNulty, 40, of Lafayette Street, Sharon, was last seen alive around 10 p.m. June 4.
His body was found in a ditch along Lynnwood Drive around 10:30 a.m. June 6, but police aid they think he died late June 4 or early June 5 and his body was taken to Lynnwood Drive by Jones and another man who hasn't been identified.
Police said Jones has admitted his part in moving the body.
Police said they think McNulty died in Jones' apartment and that drugs may have played a role in his death.
An autopsy showed no obvious cause of death, and the coroner's office is having toxicology tests done.
