Outdoor gospel concert
LIBERTY -- Colonial Manor, 196 Colonial Drive, is sponsoring an outdoor summer gospel concert from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday featuring The Voices of Joy from Rising Star Baptist Church, Wardle Avenue, Youngstown.
The guest soloists are Cynthia Wright and Darlene Brown. People should bring their own seating.
Memorial tree
CANFIELD -- A tree will be planted in memory of Robert Rose, longtime Canfield Fair board member, at 11 a.m. Wednesday on the south section of the Canfield green across from First Place Bank.
The tree planting is part of the Canfield Parks, Recreation and Cemetery board's Arbor Day celebration.
