NEW YORK -- Becky Hammon scored 21 points for New York, while Crystal Robinson, Tamika Whitmore and Vickie Johnson each added 11 points. Andrea Stinson had 14 points, and Dawn Staley added 12 points and nine assists to lead Charlotte (6-5). Hammon again starred for the Liberty (5-4) and led a second-half comeback. She also led the Liberty with 13 points in the first half. Allison Feaster, the Sting's leading scorer, was held to two points in the first half. She finished with 11.

UNCASVILLE, Conn. -- Ruth Riley scored seven points in overtime and Swin Cash added six of her 22 in the extra frame. Down 36-27 at halftime, the Sun forced overtime on Rebecca Lobo's 3-pointer with 21.4 seconds remaining in regulation. But the Shock outscored the Sun 18-9 in overtime to pull away for their sixth straight win and second overtime victory in five days. All five Detroit starters scored in double figures. Cash, a former standout at Connecticut, led the Shock with 22 points. Taj McWilliams-Franklin scored 28 points to lead the Sun. Nykesha Sales, another former UConn star, had 13 points and five assists. Lobo, also from UConn, added nine points and six rebounds.

SEATTLE -- Lauren Jackson scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 22 minutes as Seattle set a team record for points scored. The Storm, coming off a disappointing loss to Sacramento on Saturday night, grabbed the lead early and never looked back. Seattle played like the fresher team despite playing its fourth game in six days. Jackson was 9-for-14 from the field, including 4-for-6 on 3-pointers. She scored 16 points in the first half and was three points shy of her career high when she sat down for good early in the second half. Alisa Burras scored 12 and Sue Bird added nine points and six assists for Seattle, which shot 49 percent (32-for-65) and 43 percent (6-for-14) on 3-pointers.
