Blue Jays 4, Expos 2
MONTREAL -- Roy Halladay won his 11th consecutive start and Vernon Wells homered for the fourth straight game. Pitching on three-days' rest for the first time in his 100 career starts, Halladay (11-2) extended his team-record streak and the longest in the majors in six years. Halladay allowed two unearned and three hits, leaving after the first two batters reached in the ninth inning. He retired 16 straight batters during one stretch. Wells hit his 19th homer in the first. He added an RBI single in the fifth and he extended his hitting streak to a career-best 14 games. Mike Bordick also homered for Toronto, which has won 10 of 12.
Angels 6, Dodgers 3
LOS ANGELES -- Garret Anderson hit a two-run homer and Anaheim ended Kevin Brown's nine-game winning streak. Brown (10-2) had won seven straight starts. But he allowed four runs on a season-high 10 hits in five innings. He struck out eight and walked two. Kevin Appier (5-4) held the Dodgers to one run in five innings.

PHILADELPHIA -- Brett Myers (6-6) pitched a three-hitter for his first shutout. Bobby Abreu, Marlon Byrd and Jimmy Rollins homered.
Padres 3, Mariners 1
SAN DIEGO -- Donaldo Mendez doubled leading off the sixth to break up Ryan Franklin's no-hit bid and Jake Peavy won his third straight start. Peavy (7-5) and three relievers combined on a five-hitter. Rod Beck pitched the ninth for his third save in as many chances.
Athletics 6, Giants 5
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Miguel Tejada hit a three-run homer as Oakland took two of three in the Bay Bridge Series. Erubiel Durazo hit a solo homer for the go-ahead run, and Eric Chavez had a two-run double as Oakland rallied from a three-run deficit. Barry Bonds had an RBI single for the Giants and got the 499th stolen base of his career.
Orioles 9, Braves 3
ATLANTA -- Jeff Conine drove in three runs, Luis Matos and B.J. Surhoff had two RBIs apiece as Baltimore avoided a sweep. Jason Johnson (6-3) gave up seven hits and all three runs in 51/3 innings. Pat Hentgen went the rest of the way, pitching 32/3 hitless inning for the first save of his 12-year major league career.
Royals 5, Cardinals 2
ST. LOUIS -- Jeremy Affeldt won for the first time in seven starts and hit an RBI single for Kansas City. Affeldt (4-3) won for the first time since May 12, allowing a run on six hits. Mike MacDougal got his 16th save.
Cubs 2, White Sox 1
CHICAGO -- Blanked for seven innings by Bartolo Colon, the Cubs rallied for two runs in the eighth off Damaso Marte. Winner Carlos Zambrano (6-6) gave up just six hits and a run in eight innings.
Marlins 3, Devil Rays 2
MIAMI -- Rookie Miguel Cabrera hit an RBI triple and Mike Lowell homered to lead Florida. Cabrera's third-inning triple off a billboard in center field was the Marlins' only hit until the seventh, when Lowell hit his major league-leading 23rd home run. Carl Pavano (6-8) retired the first 13 batters before giving up four straight hits in the fifth inning.
Twins 8, Brewers 3
MILWAUKEE -- Kenny Rogers won for just the second time in seven weeks despite leaving the game after getting hit on his left ankle by a grounder. Corey Koskie, Denny Hocking, Torii Hunter and Justin Morneau homered for the Twins.
Rockies 5, Tigers 3
DENVER -- Denny Neagle worked six-plus innings for his first victory of the year and Charles Johnson had a two-run single for Colorado. Neagle (1-1) allowed three runs and six hits, fanning six in 61/3 innings in his second start of the season. Neagle, who hadn't won since Sept. 4 at San Francisco, spent the first 71 games of the year on the disabled list with stiffness in his left elbow.
Astros 3, Rangers 1
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Lance Berkman homered and Jose Vizcaino hit a tie-breaking RBI triple for Houston. Texas has lost 19 of 21 games, its worst stretch since going 2-19 in September 1972. The NL Central-leading Astros were scoreless against Joaquin Benoit (2-3) until Berkman's two-out solo homer, his 13th, tied the game in the sixth. Richard Hidalgo then doubled before Vizcaino's triple chased Benoit.
Yankees 7, Mets 3, 11 innings
NEW YORK -- Jorge Posada and Charles Gipson received bases-loaded walks in the ninth and 11th innings. Posada's walk from closer Armando Benitez with two outs in the ninth inning forced in the tying run, and Gipson's walk scored the go-ahead run in the 11th. Jason Phillips' RBI single off Chris Hammond with two outs in the eighth gave the Mets a 3-2 lead, but Benitez couldn't hold it. He walked four batters in the ninth.
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Diamondbacks 6, Reds 5
PHOENIX -- Steve Finley went 4-for-4 with a three-run homer as Arizona beat Cincinnati for the 14th straight time. Eddie Oropesa (1-1) pitched one hitless inning for the win. Jose Valverde pitched the ninth for his seventh save. The Diamondbacks rallied against Kent Mercker (0-1) and Chris Reitsma.
