Money spent
The committee set up to oversee spending of about $90,000 donated to victims of a Nov. 10, 2002, twister that hit the Clark area of Mercer County, Pa., has spent about $64,000 so far, all of it going directly to victims of the storm. A breakdown of spending shows:
$12,500 to 125 people who suffered some level of loss.
$29,006 to 47 people needing emergency assistance.
$16,950 to 11 people needing help in repairing their homes.
$5,600 to 56 people seeking help to pay for tree and stump removal.
