Testa Construction 5, Poland Home Savings 4 -- Craig Bletso pitched six scoreless innings, allowing four hits. Adam Chizmar got the save. Justin Hardwick went 1-for-2, and Chizmar went 1-for-3 with a double.
Tri-T Pony
Boardman R & amp;J Trucking 9, Boardman Cole Valley Pontiac 2 -- Pitcher Geoff Marple allowed four hits while striking out seven batters. Marple was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Eddie Rohan was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Ryan Holmes, Brent Balog, Bobby Bovara and Evan Klepic each had a single for Cole Valley.
Boardman R & amp;J Trucking 9, Canfield Aim National Lease 2 -- Mark Carrocce went the distance giving up four hits while striking out 11 batters. Dan McCarthy was 2-for-3, Josh Gardner was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, and Eddie Rohan was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Jonathan Bastion, Alan Jarmusch, Matt Glove and Travis Kneen each had a hit for Canfield.
Babe Ruth (13s)
Line Drive 4, Astros 1 -- Mike Popio pitched a seven-inning complete game for Line Drive. Dave Wright and Mark Turnbull pitched for the Astros. Popio and Tyler Amendola each had two hits, while Popio and Dan Kubala each had an RBI for Line Drive.
Babe Ruth (14-15)
Rondinelli Tuxedo 8, Belleria Pizza 2 -- Frank Rosile and Danny Hammond had three hits each and Joe Iacobucci two to lead a 13-hit attack. Tony Brunetti got the mound win, working a complete game with six strikeouts. Dane Dobson doubled for Belleria.
Commercial Neon 3, Astros 2 -- Nick Turco went 3-for-3 and Aaron Kwolek collected two hits. John Rouan threw a complete game with six strikeouts for the win. Brett Grabman had two hits for Astros.
SOFTBALL
Tri-T Pony (13-14)
Canfield 2, Springfield Optimist 0 -- Lauren Sulick pitched a no-hitter with 19 strikeouts for the win. Casey Wilson and Ashley Mondora had key hits.
Columbiana Post 290 6, Canfield B & amp;R 5 -- Alex Kelly scored two runs for Columbiana. J.D. Beck scored the winning run on Neal Brant's game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh. A.J. Steiner was the winning pitcher.
