Cortland street fair kicks off this weekend

CORTLAND -- The Lions Club street fair is Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Because of road construction on South High Street, the parade route has been changed.
The staging area is on East Main Street and side streets. The parade starts at East Main and Willow, goes to West Main, around Grove, to Erie, up West Main and ends at Park Avenue.
East Main will be closed Saturday afternoon for the parade, which starts at 6 p.m. Organizers request that residents not park along that street.
Festival hours are: 6 p.m. to midnight each day. There is also a children's matinee from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday during which children can ride rides for one price. A firework show will be at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Advance ride tickets are available at $10 for 20 tickets until the fair starts. During the fair, 20 tickets can be bought for $13 or 75 cents per ticket.
Two to four tickets are required for each ride.
Advance ride tickets are available at Cortland Moose, Cortland Sparkle Market, Custom Countertops & amp; Kitchens, Daybreak Music, Marcy's Hallmark Card Shop, Ron's Barber Shop and Star Cleaners.
