Cops arrest 2 men and 1 minor; 2 face drug charges



YOUNGSTOWN -- Police investigating complaints of drugs' being sold in a parking lot arrested two men and a juvenile about 7:40 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Griffith Street, they saw in the parking lot a group of young men who hollered "Cops!" and ran as soon as they saw the officers.
Caught and charged
After a short foot pursuit, officers caught three of them. Kyle P. Coney, 21, of Emerson Place is charged with criminal trespassing; Marketis Stevens, 22, of Hayman Street is charged with possession of dangerous drugs and criminal trespassing; and a juvenile is charged with aggravated trafficking in heroin.
The juvenile, the report states, had a plastic sandwich bag containing 10 white bundles of heroin and rice. Stevens had three Vicodin painkillers and $177 in cash, the report continues. Both he and Coney had been banned from Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority property.
