XSLIDELL, La. -- Tracy Lynn Albanese, a daughter of Joseph and Shirley Albanese of North Jackson, and Bradley John Derteen, a son of Bruce and Eileen Derteen of Slidell, were married May 17 at the groom's home in Slidell.
The civil ceremony took place at 3 p.m. and was officiated by Justice of the Peace Randall Caire.
Stacy Johnson of Slidell served as honor attendant, and the duties of best man were performed by Darren Wagner of North Jackson.
The couple have returned from a cruise to the western Caribbean and live in Slidell.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. She earned a master's in anthropology from the University of Montana in Missoula, Mont., and is pursuing a juris doctorate at the University of Akron School of Law.
The groom, a scientific programmer with Planning Systems Inc., earned a bachelor's degree in computer science at YSU. He is pursuing a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
