XNEW SPRINGFIELD -- The Rev. Ron Wamer officiated at 1:30 p.m. May 17 at New Springfield Church of God for the wedding of Lisa Deafenbaugh, daughter of Harold and Deborah Deafenbaugh, 13249 Unity Road, and Michael Catauro, son of Joseph and Carol Catauro, 132 Piccadilly St., Campbell.
A reception followed at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center in Youngstown, and the couple departed for a honeymoon to Jamaica.
They are living in Castle Rock, Colo.
The bride's white, satin, A-line gown was detailed with silver beading.
Maid of honor was Amy Kappler. She wore a lavender gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jennifer and Samantha Deafenbaugh, the bride's sisters, and Breanna DeMarco. Brittany Landsberger, the bride's cousin, was flower girl.
Andy Hengstebeck served as best man, and groomsmen were Kevin Popio, Mike Williams and Adam Freres. Ring bearer was Jacob Mills.
A graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus with a degree in chemical engineering, Mrs. Catauro is a territory sales executive with Exxon Mobil Corp. in Denver.
Her husband holds a degree in chemical engineering from General Motors Institute/Kettering University in Flint, Mich., and is a sales engineer with James Engineering in Boulder, Colo.
