XYOUNGSTOWN -- Jennie Marie Lambert and Matthew Gerald Weiss, both of 53 Townsend Ave., Girard, exchanged vows before Girard Mayor James J. Melfi during a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. May 17 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
Parents of the bride are Jerome and Helen Lambert, 345 E. Kline St., Girard. The groom is a son of Mike Weiss of California, formerly of Girard, and Mary Weiss of Niles, formerly of Girard.
The newlyweds received guests during a reception at Willow Creek in Girard, then left for a honeymoon to Five Mile Island, N.J.
They live in Girard.
Mrs. Weiss is employed as a secretary with Predator Trucking in McDonald and in sales at Jenss Decor in Niles.
Mr. Weiss is a postal driver with R. Tumbleweed in Liberty.
Blue floral details enhanced the bride's gown of white organza styled in an A-line design.
The bride's sister, Jerilynn Lambert of Girard, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Heather Berling and Joelle Lambert, both of Girard, and Holly Bosch of Cincinnati, the bride's sisters, and Amy Weiss of Girard, the groom's sister. They wore ice-blue dresses.
Michael Weiss of Liberty performed the duties of best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Marc Lambert of Howland, the bride's brother; Matthew Weiss of Girard, the groom's son; and Rick Plant and Todd Williams, both of Girard.
