YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State coach Joe Conroy announced the signing of Amanda Cindric to a letter of intent.
Cindric, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was a four-year letter winner at Carrick High and was team captain her junior and senior seasons. A four-time all-district selection, Cindric, a 5-foot-7 defensive specialist, was named all-state in 2001.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Natalie Ludt of Poland will continue her career at YSU.
Ludt's older sister, Kristy, played for the Penguins from 1996-99.

Horse show
MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Penn Ohio Morgan Horse Association will put on a horse show at the Crawford County Fairgrounds July 4-6.
Amateurs and professional exhibitors will take part in the equine show.

Game times set for four Ohio State games
COLUMBUS -- The times have been set for four of Ohio State's eight home games this season.
Three of the four games will be televised on ABC, including the season opener against Washington at 8:10 p.m. Aug. 30.
ABC also will carry the games against North Carolina State on Sept. 13, starting at 12:10 p.m., and Oct. 18 against Iowa at 3:36 p.m.
The Sept. 20 game against Bowling Green will start at 12:10 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN Plus.
Previously, ABC announced that it would show the Nov. 22 game between the Buckeyes and Michigan, the 100th meeting between the rivals, that starts at 12:10 p.m.

READING, Pa. -- Ron Wright homered and drove in four runs as the Akron Aeros beat the Reading Phillies 7-3 Tuesday night.
Fernando Cabrera (7-2) pitched five shutout innings to become the fourth Eastern League pitcher to win seven games.
Fusion are fourth seed
CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Fusion have been awarded home field in the first round of the National Women's Football Association playoffs hunt.
The Fusion, seeded fourth, takes on the Baltimore Burn, the fifth seed, June 28 at 7 p.m. at Bedford Stadium.

DENVER -- The Winter X Games are headed back to Aspen.
The games will take place in Aspen-Snowmass for the third straight year, Jan. 22-25.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Phillies' new ballpark will be named Citizens Bank Park.
Citizens Bank bought the naming rights and an advertising package in a $95 million deal.
