Pearson-Mitchell wedding plans are announced



XYOUNGSTOWN -- The engagement of Cynthia Pearson, 736 E. Judson Ave., and Charles M. Mitchell, 1040 Alameda Ave., is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of John Shaw, 89 Notre Dame Drive, Campbell, and Viney Shaw of Cleveland. Ms. Pearson graduated from Choffin School of Surgical Technology and is a surgical technician at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
The future groom is a son of Magnora Mitchell of the Alameda Avenue address and the late Charles Mitchell. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from ATES Technical Institute in Niles and is an electrical audio engineer with Satin Sound Systems in Hermitage, Pa.
The couple will exchange vows July 12 during an open-church ceremony at 4 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at St. Mark Hall in Liberty.
