BOARDMAN
June 9
Assault: Police charged a 55-year-old Columbiana man with assault after a Youngstown woman reported being assaulted while she was in a parking lot in the 7100 block of West Boulevard.
Bad checks: A 35-year-old Youngstown man was charged with receiving stolen property and forgery after a First Place Bank employee reported two stolen checks totaling $150 were cashed at two Boardman branches.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a storeroom at Cartronics, 5326 Market St.
Theft: An employee at Ron Joy Nursing Home, 920 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported a $3,000 sterling trailer stolen.
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old Youngstown boy on a theft charge after a New Jersey Nets jacket was stolen from Sportstown in the Southern Park Mall. He also was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 80 block of Terrace Drive reported a man in his 50s broke into his garage and stole a wrench and a four-drawer toolbox containing miscellaneous tools.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet, driver's license and numerous credit cards stolen from her purse while she shopped at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Identity theft: A Poland man reported someone used his personal information to open a Best Buy credit account, and made $2,342 worth of purchases over the Internet.
Attempted burglary: A woman discovered an aluminum window screen damaged after someone tried to break into her residence in the 4300 block of Chester Drive.
Assault: A woman alleged a 16-year-old boy assaulted her son in the victim's driveway in the 4600 block of South Avenue.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 100 block of Shadyside Drive reported his garage broken into and two roofing guns, a framing gun, four air hoses, a 3.5-horsepower air compressor and a toolbox containing assorted tools taken.
Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 800 block of Cook Avenue and stole a gold women's engagement ring, various Nintendo games and three DVDs.
Theft: Police charged a 24-year-old Boardman man with theft after three shirts were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
June 10
Theft: A man reported a leather attach & eacute; case, two organizers, a sales manual and miscellaneous paperwork stolen from his vehicle in the 600 block of Oakridge Drive.
Theft: A woman reported a $300 battery-driven car was removed from the garage at her residence in the 1100 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A woman reported a workbook and a change purse stolen from her car parked in the 5900 block of Applecrest Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 36-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after 10 DVDs were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Arrest: A 45-year-old man was arrested at his Woodrow Avenue residence on a warrant charging him with burglary. He also was wanted on three counts of failure to appear in court.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 100 block of Shields Road alleged her boyfriend damaged a door frame at a home she rents after they got into a domestic situation.
Attempted theft: A Boardman boy, 12, and a Youngstown boy, 13, were charged with complicity to theft after an employee at Hollywood Video, 6731 South Ave., reported someone tried to steal a $50 box of video games.
Arrests: A Niles woman, 24, and a man, 36, no city given, were charged with theft and obstructing official business after an employee at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, alleged they loaded a push-mower into their vehicle without paying for it. The woman also was charged with possession of drug-abuse instruments, and the man was wanted on warrants charging him with receiving stolen property, forgery and larceny.
Criminal damaging: Someone spray-painted a vehicle parked in the 90 block of Shadyside Drive.
June 11
Drugs: After responding to a complaint in the 7700 block of Silver Fox Drive, police arrested a 30-year-old Boardman man on a warrant charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest: A 16-year-old Columbiana girl was charged with misuse of a credit card after a woman discovered her Visa card stolen, and that it was used to make purchases at various Boardman businesses.
Arrests: Police arrested a Boardman woman and man, both 38, on charges of cultivating marijuana, drug trafficking and permitting drug abuse.
Arrest: A 49-year-old Boardman man was arrested near Erie Street and Meadowbrook Avenue and charged with attempted assault on a police officer, two counts of menacing a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Criminal damaging: Someone used green and orange spray paint to damage a van parked in the 70 block of Maple Drive.
Theft: A man reported five nail guns, a framing gun, a pneumatic stapler and an electric hand sheerer removed from a vehicle in the Lowe's parking lot, 1100 Doral Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 50-year-old Boardman woman on a theft charge after a pair of men's pants was stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a man, 20, and a woman, 18, both from New Castle, Pa., on theft charges after two gold earrings and $215 worth of assorted jewelry were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 16-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after a pair of earrings was removed from J.C. Penney in the Southern Park Mall.
Counterfeit: After conducting a search warrant, police discovered about $8,000 worth of counterfeit merchandise inside a residence in the 1400 block of Fredericksburg Drive.
Burglary: A woman reported someone stole $660 and several rings from her apartment in the 7100 block of Locust Drive.
Theft: An employee at a Rich gas station, 5823 South Ave., reported a man reached over a counter and took three cartons of cigarettes.
Criminal damaging: An employee at American Envelope, 8401 Southern Blvd., discovered two vending machines damaged in a break room.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 60 block of South Shore Drive discovered 21 small dents on a portion of aluminum siding on her home.
Theft: A woman reported $1,500 worth of miscellaneous chains, rings and pendants stolen from a bathroom at her residence in the 700 block of Indianola Road.
June 12
Arrest: Police charged a 43-year-old Youngstown man with violating a protection order after his former wife alleged he appeared on a balcony at her residence in the 7100 block of Locust Drive.
Thefts: An employee at Residence Inn, 7396 Tiffany Blvd., reported someone broke into a vending machine and took an undetermined amount of change. Also, someone broke into two vending machines at the Microtel Inn, 7393 South Ave., and removed a total of $140.
Theft: A woman reported $180 taken from her purse at her residence in the 4000 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Theft: An employee at Boardman Court, 127 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported a court-case jacket missing when property was returned to her.
Theft: An employee at Steven's Optical, 1714 Boardman-Poland Road, reported a patient stole a prescription record from an office.
Possible theft: A Gardenwood Drive man reported a rear license plate missing from his vehicle.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 19-year-old Boardman man on a domestic violence charge after his girlfriend alleged he assaulted her at their Lockwood Boulevard residence.
Theft: A Canfield girl, 14, was charged with theft after a plastic bracelet was stolen from Claire's Boutiques Inc. in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman reported a vehicle battery stolen when she was at Preston Hyundai, 260 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft/criminal damaging: A woman in the 70 block of Lemans Drive reported a gas grill and vinyl cover stolen from a carport that had a metal handrail damaged.
June 13
Arrest: A 42-year-old Ellwood City, Pa., man was arrested at a Shell gas station, 998 E. Western Reserve Road, on a warrant charging him with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Burglary: A woman reported a man in his 20s broke into her residence in the 4200 block of Stratford Road and stole her purse containing several credit cards.
Arrest: A 20-year-old Youngstown man was arrested in a parking lot in the 4600 block of South Avenue and charged with underage possession of alcohol. Police say they found five cans of beer.
Forgery: An employee at Youngstown Hoist & amp; Body Inc., 2610 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, reported a woman forged six company checks.
Theft: A woman discovered a cellular phone missing from her vehicle in the 80 block of Sciota Avenue.
Assault: A Garden Valley Court woman reported a woman assaulted her while the victim was at Dunkin Donuts, 6401 Market St.
Theft: A Jaguar Drive woman reported three silver necklaces missing from a bedroom.
Assault: A Boardman Boulevard man reported being assaulted while he was in a driveway in the 100 block of Stadler Court.
Theft: Police arrested a Poland boy, 17, and a Lowellville man, 19, on theft charges after two pairs of tennis shoes, a pair of men's shorts and a receiver were stolen from Wal-Mart.
June 14
Assault: A man alleged a 43-year-old woman assaulted him at their residence in the 4000 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Drugs: A 43-year-old Glenwood Avenue woman was arrested at her residence and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police say they found a multicolored suspected marijuana pipe.
Arrest: A Struthers man, 25, was arrested at the Mahoning County jail and charged with receiving stolen property after a Girard woman reported a check belonging to her aunt was forged and presented at Sky Bank, 5754 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone used a rock to smash his vehicle's rear window while the car was in a driveway in the 6600 block of Applewood Drive.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone tossed a rock through his front window, causing $550 in damage to his residence in the 5900 block of Glenridge Drive.
Criminal mischief: Someone drove a vehicle through about 75 feet of a front lawn in the 1300 block of Black Friar Lane.
Assault: A man in the 100 block of Stadler Court alleged a 32-year-old man used a vehicle to assault him while the victim stood in a parking lot.
Criminal damaging: An employee at Stomping Grounds, 6418 Market St., discovered someone used a BB gun to shoot a front window at the business, causing about $200 in damage.
Theft: Someone stole a live-animal trap from a yard in the 100 block of Melbourne Avenue.
Theft: A 19-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft after a pack of cigarettes was taken from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A man reported an in-dash stereo/compact-disc player stolen from his van in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard.
Forgery: A woman in the 80 block of South Shore Drive alleged her 27-year-old son stole a $75 check and forged it before cashing it.
Felonious assault: A man, 31, was arrested at his Lemans Drive residence on a felonious assault charge after a woman reported a 17-year-old family member was assaulted during a fight.
Theft: An employee at Frulatti Cafe & amp; Bakery in the Southern Park Mall reported $31 stolen from a work area.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown women, 61, and 50, on theft charges after $157 worth of miscellaneous jewelry and a pair of jeans were stolen from Kaufmann's.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle's rear window was shattered while it was in a driveway in the 6600 block of Appleridge Drive.
June 15
Assault: An Aravesta Avenue man reported being assaulted while he was in the BW-3 parking lot at the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: A woman in the 600 block of Cook Avenue reported a Pok & eacute;mon game cartridge, and an undetermined number of women's rings missing from her apartment.
Arrests: After conducting a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard, police arrested a woman, 27, and a man, 37, both from Chicago, on charges of receiving stolen property, theft and possessing criminal tools. Police determined that about $3,321 worth of clothing and other merchandise was stolen from J.C. Penney and $527.50 worth of merchandise was taken from Dillard's in the Southern Park Mall.
Attempted assault: A Euclid woman reported three men in a Jeep tossed firecrackers at her vehicle's driver's-side window when she drove near Southern Boulevard and U.S. Route 224.

Attempted breaking and entering: A woman in the 100 block of North Main Street discovered three screens partially opened and pushed in at her residence.
June 15
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue reported a car radio stolen from his vehicle.
