CAMPBELL-- Four-year-old Mychael Claytor grabbed the keys to his grandfather's Ford Crown Victoria on Monday night, started it and drove it across the street into a neighbor's garage, pushing the neighbor's Chevrolet Corsica out the back of the garage, police reports show.
Mercedes Bryant of Penhale Avenue in Campbell told police she was visiting with a neighbor when her son got the keys to her father's car from inside her home.
When police arrived, the Corsica, belonging to Henry Merrell, was behind the garage and the Crown Victoria was in the garage, the report states. Damage was also done to Merrell's back porch.
Mount Carmel Societyplans bike nights
LOWELLVILLE -- The Mount Carmel Society will host bike nights July 3 and Sept. 4 at its festival grounds in honor of Harley-Davidson's 100th anniversary.
The events, sponsored by Harley-Davidson of Youngstown and Miller Lite, are part of the Century Tour of the Valley and will feature bike games, giveaways and prizes.
The Century Tour takes place at nine locations and runs through Sept. 25.
"We're hoping to get between 500 and 2,000 bikes, depending on the weather," said Bob Pallozzi, who is coordinating the event.
Festivities will run from 5 to 11 p.m. and are free and open to everyone, Harley owners or not, Pallozzi added.

Charged with violations
YOUNGSTOWN -- The U.S. attorney's office filed a two-count information today against a 24-year-old Youngstown man for violations of the federal drug and firearms law.
The information charges Kevin Wallace of East Philadelphia Avenue with distributing crack cocaine and violating firearms law by possessing a Glock .40-caliber pistol after being convicted in 2001 in Mahoning County of possession of cocaine and carrying a concealed weapon.
An information is filed with the consent of the defendant.
The case is being prosecuted by Joseph P. Schmitz, assistant U.S. attorney, after an investigation by the Youngstown Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Arrested on drug charges
BOARDMAN -- A 23-year-old township woman will be in Mahoning County area court Thursday to face drug charges. Carrie A. Baker, of Meadowbrook Avenue, was arrested Monday on charges of felony possession of drugs and misdemeanor possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Police reports say the Narcotic Enforcement Unit had made controlled drug buys from the Meadowbrook address. Police say additional arrests may be pending.
Pumping septic tanks
AUSTINTOWN -- The Mahoning County Health District is mailing septic tank pumping reminders to about 1,000 Springfield Township residents. There is no law requiring homeowners to have their septic tanks pumped, said Matthew Stefanak, county health commissioner. But pumping can help keep septic systems functioning properly, thereby saving homeowners expensive repair costs and preventing pollution, he said.
In the mailing, homeowners will receive a pumping interval recommendations and a list of licensed pumpers. For instance, it is recommended a 1,000-gallon tank serving a four-person household should be pumped every three years.
Antique car show coming
LIBERTY -- Liberty Arms Assisted Living Residence and Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club will host their annual public antique car show from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Liberty Arms' parking lot, 1353 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.

Homicide in Warren
WARREN -- Detectives are investigating a homicide that took place around 12:30 a.m. today.
A man was found shot once in the head outside 941 Oak Street S.W., police said. Police identified him as Antonio J. Daniels, 22, of 1870 6th St. S.W.
