Police do not know why the two men were arguing.
SHARON, Pa. -- Area police were searching today for a man wanted in a shooting outside a bar that left a Hermitage man dead.
An arrest warrant was issued this morning for Michael Anthony Rogers, 29, on a criminal homicide charge, said Sharon police Capt. Mike Menster.
Rogers is described as a black man, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds. Police did not have an address for Rogers.
He is wanted in an early-morning shooting in the parking lot of the Styles Lounge, 395 E. Budd St.
Menster said police found Elliott Andre Campbell, 27, of Hermitage lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his torso at 1:49 a.m. today.
Argument
Witnesses told police that Campbell and Rogers had been arguing and the suspect fired several shots at the other man. Campbell was hit once, Menster said.
The Hermitage man was pronounced dead at 2:47 a.m. today at Sharon Regional Health System.
Menster said police were still interviewing witnesses this morning and did not know why Campbell and Rogers were arguing.
Southwest Regional Police and the Hermitage Police Crime Scene Unit are assisting Sharon police in the investigation, he said.
