Anna M. Lamont, a retired nurse living in Lordstown, recently wrote a book of short stories. "After the E.R.: Stories Depicting the Aftermath of Tragedy" was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. and costs $15. The stories explore how the most ordinary events, such as shopping or going to the dentist, can have tragic consequences.
