Coroner rules homicide in North Side death

YOUNGSTOWN -- The death of a 22-year-old North Side woman gunned down during an argument with a neighbor in April has been ruled a homicide.
Dominique S. Lynch of 2325 Trussit Ave., becomes the eighth official homicide victim in the city.
The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has not yet ruled on two other fatal shootings in Youngstown. There were 17 homicides in the city at this time last year.
Lynch died after being shot April 25 under her right arm. Her husband, Randy, was shot in the shin and treated for the minor injury at St. Elizabeth Health Center. The shooting occurred outside their home after they argued with a neighbor over unruly juveniles in the neighborhood.
Police had no details about the actions of the juveniles.
Randy Lynch said he was trying to get his wife to stop arguing when a gray car pulled up and a male got out and started shooting. Randy Lynch said the neighbors across the street knew the gunman.
Charged with Lynch's murder is Breon Stringfield, 16, of Parkwood Avenue in Youngstown, who is being held at the county juvenile justice center.
