Bike run for Hartzell
YOUNGSTOWN -- The first memorial motorcycle run for city Patrolman Michael T. Hartzell, who was killed in the line of duty, is Sunday at Jolly Joe's, 3718 Sheridan Road. The cost is $10 per rider and $10 per passenger. Food and beverage is included. Sign-ups are at 10 a.m. and the last motorcycle out is at noon. All proceeds go to the Michael T. Hartzell Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 28 Memorial Fund. The motorcycle run, estimated at 50 miles, will begin and end at Jolly Joe's, traveling through Lowellville, Poland, Canfield, Ellsworth, North Jackson, Austintown and Youngstown.
