SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 9273 High St. N.E., Warren, activities are as follows: Tap dance classes will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays. Cost is $3 per session payable to the instructor. An ABC Luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 26. There will be entertainment, and May and June birthdays will be celebrated. Cost is $5, and reservations are required. The center will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 19. Clean, usable items are being accepted; no clothing. Family-oriented trips planned for July are: July 7, tour of Falling Waters with lunch at Seven Springs Resort and a ride down the river, cost is $89; and July 31, trip to Marietta with stop at a doll factory, guided tour of Marietta, shopping, lunch and tour of Fenton Glass, cost is $55. A trip also is planned for Sept. 25 to the Englebert Humperdinck show at Playhouse Square in Cleveland. Cost is $55 with a $25 deposit required when reserving a seat. Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Father's Day picnic at noon with music and door prizes, and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, New Middletown Satellite and oil painting at 10 a.m. and blood-pressure screening from noon to 1 p.m.; Wednesday, Lake Milton Satellite and watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon, blood-pressure screening at 12:30 p.m., and yoga and 500 card club at 1; Thursday, woodcarvers and TOPS at 9 a.m., blood-pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and line dancing at 1; and Friday, Sebring Fun Day at 10 a.m. and crafts at 2:30 p.m. The center has applications for the SBC telephone discount program.
