55-PLUS CLUBLIBERTY
XLiberty 55-Plus Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Rocco Church Hall, 239 Trumbull Court, Liberty. Dues must be paid at the meeting in order to maintain membership. Birthdays will be observed, and there will be a 50-50 drawing and bingo. Hostesses will be Lucy Bell, Eleanor Fortunato and Pat Pishok.

XA meeting of the 55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Afterward members will dine out.
AARP 2520
XPoland AARP 2520 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road. The topic of discussion will be "Do We Need a Senior Activity Center in Our Area?" All seniors are welcome. Members may take a favorite game, cards, art, musical instrument or sewing for the afternoon entertainment. Refreshments will be served, and nonperishable items for the Food Pantry will be collected.

XNiles Chapter 3530, AARP, will meet Monday at Vernon's Cafe on Route 422. After the lunch at noon plans will be made for a July picnic. Area seniors are welcome. Nonperishable items for the Food Kitchen will be collected.
AARP 4611
XChapter 4611, AARP, will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmalee Avenue, Youngstown. Guest speaker Atty. Elliot Legou will speak on elder law planning. Members are reminded to take school supplies. Birthdays for April, May and June will be observed, and there will be a 50-50 drawing. New members are welcome.

HAPPY WANDERERS
XHappy Wanderers will meet Friday at Corner House Christian Church. Each person should take a sack lunch, and those with last names beginning with A through L are asked to take a dozen cookies. Lunch will begin at noon. Carol Babyak will provide the program at 1 p.m. Serving on the hospitality committee will be Flo Shilling, Mary Humenny, Marilyn Spellman, Lydia Summers and Pat Osberg, and greeters will be are Pearl McGinnis, Freida O'Donnell, and Carl and Joyce Hillier.
Prior to the meeting, the picnic committee will meet at 11 a.m. Reservations for the July meeting picnic are being accepted.
The Presque Isle State Park and lunch cruise tour will depart at 7 a.m. Tuesday from the church. Reservations are being accepted for the Wisconsin tour Aug. 20-23, including the Dells, the Tommy Bartlett Ski, Sky & amp; Stage Show, the House on the Rock and a performance of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at the Fireside Dinner Theatre. Other tours scheduled are: "Carousel" at the Carousel Dinner Theatre, Sept. 17; fall foliage mystery tour, Oct. 2; and Pennsylvania Grand Canyon tour to Wellsboro, Pa., Oct. 21-22. XActivities for the Senior Adult Program at the Jewish Community Center are as follows: Monday, talk with social worker at 11 a.m. and a meat lunch of vegetable soup, pepper steak, roasted potatoes and birthday cake at noon; and Wednesday, dairy lunch of potato soup, salmon loaf, noodle kugel, green beans and cherry crisp at noon.

X"SS Mission Outreach to Scandinavian Countries" will be the program when West of 50s Community Seniors meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, corner of Hudson and Claremont avenues.
