New frames will focus attention on eyes

BALTIMORE SUN
Designer Giorgio Armani created the eyeglass look a few years back that everyone bought big -- small sculptural wire frames.
Now the Italian style-setter has weighed in on the latest in eyeglasses. Some looks to check out:
UFemininity is defined with large lenses in oval and rectangular shapes. The edges are soft, as are the colors.
UArmani goes urban with wraparound styles in gray, black, brown and steel.
ULittle lenses are still popular, but this time the wire frames are so minimalist they seem to disappear.
UFinally, remember those gilt astrological sign stickers one could adorn one's lenses with way back in the '70s? Armani reinterprets the idea with hanging charms at the temple that resemble earrings for your glasses.
Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani frames cost about $195 and are available at fine optical stores.
