McCune Park in Canfield -- is where Canfield Baseball Club will stage a tournament for community all-star teams from July 11-25 for players ages 7-12. Age brackets are 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. RUNNING
The Cortland 10 Miler -- is set June 28 at 9 a.m. at Lakeview High School. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. A two-mile fun run also is scheduled.
SOCCER

SOFTBALL
Silver Park in Alliance -- is where a USSSA qualifier will be June 21 for Class D and E men's teams. Entry fee is $125 plus sanction for the double-elimination event. Call Floyd at (330) 823-2008 or Bill at (330) 337-9109.
Girard -- There will be a clinic for pitchers and catchers held on June 20 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Tod Park. Kids will learn all of the basics and also advanced skills.
